Conducted 50 Hearing assessment camps and identified 50 kids for free hearing aids , in Bangalore east district as part of the ICPS project sanctioned to CIS by the ministry of women & child development, Govt of Karnataka in 2017

Food aid packets have been distributed as of now

  • Food packets to 205 needy families of Sirguppa village Bellary district
  • Food packets to 100 needy families of madhugiri
  • Food packets to 50 families of Muzaffar nagar up
  • Food packets to 50 families of Shivajinagar and Govindpur

Relief Activities

Alhamdulillaah in the summer of 2019 due to an extreme heat and water shortage in Bangalore, the project Water was launched by CIS Welfare Trust . Four 142 litre capacity steel tank Water Filters with UV Systems have been Alhamdulillaah installed in different wards of Bowring & lady cursing hospital Shivaji Nagar Bangalore in the month of April 2019

Another 5 filters have been installed in bowring hospital in other wards . And 4 filters are installed in Gosha hospital which is a subsidiary of bowring hospital

Three filter have been installed at Dr Ambedkar Hospital

And there is a plan In sha’ Allaah to target other govt hospitals like Victoria , Kidwai etc

Constructed 3 houses for the flood affected people at Wayanad of Kerala Floods 2018 . Apart from that many other houses have been renovated and relief material provided to the affected people

Constructed 12 houses for the flood affected people of Bihar floods 2017 , distributed more than 200 blankets , food and medicines to the needy

Relief and rehabilitation of the flood affected people of Kashmir in 2014. Alhamdulillaah more than 20 tonnes of relief material and essential medicines transported from Bangalore to Srinagar and distributed . Apart from that constructing of houses and providing of education assistance to the affected people

Community Iftaar Meet

An all community Iftaar Meet was successfully organised on 19th May 2019, corresponding to 14 Ramadan 1440 Hijri, wherein following representatives of the different communities attended the program from 3 pm to 6:30 pm at White Manor Infantry Road Bangalore

Visit the Mosque Program

A team of 65 Roman Catholic Christian pastors, students and nuns of Krishtu Jyothi college (KR Puram) Bangalore visited CIS on 25/02/2020 . Along with their dean Father Preventh Tony Lobo (PhD)

  • They were welcomed in the premises of Masjid e Munawwara adjacent to CIS.
  • The Visit to the Mosque started with a beautiful recitation of the Qur’an of selected aayaat from Surah Maaidah, Aal Imraan and Maryam by Hafiz Mateen Umri followed by the English translation by Hafiz Mohammad Labeeb.
  • A presentation on Islam , status of Jesus and Mary in Islam , Tawheed , explanation of Suratul Ikhlas was made by Hafiz Farhan in English .
  • Hafiz Mohammad Labeeb then explained the role of a Mosque . Azaan was recited and it’s translation and meanings in English were explained .
  • Then a practical demonstration of Wudu in one Mudd (prophetic volume) of water was shown with the importance of cleanliness in Islam.
  • All the Christian guests performed the ablution and joined for Zuhr prayer in two rows .
  • Then the importance of the pulpit , Imaam who leads the salah , the teachings of Islam regarding equality and the practical demo of the discipline during the standing of rows in salah was explained .
  • After the salah , a practical demo of the Janazah , Ghusl of the mayyit, Takfeen and Tadfeen with the explanation of the salatul Janazah and meaning of its duas was elaborated .
  • Then all the guests had lunch .
  • Finally a question and answer session was held where Shaikh Aneesur Rahman Azami Madani answered the questions asked by the Christian priests and nuns .
  • Gift packets containing translation of the Quran , introductory material on Islam , Seerah of the Prophet etc was distributed to the guests .
  • The vote of thanks was given by Father Dr Previnth and a nun representing the Christians . They said the tranquility what they experienced in the Mosque was un explainable. All of them have given a written feedback about the whole program.
